I just can’t be. When did it become December 2008 almost January 2009? I can’t be the only one that thinks this way. We are a week away from Christmas, a month and half and I get older, again, and yet I am so busy worrying about silly stuff it is just plain silly. My son has grown up faster than I ever expected, He is a teenager, and boy is he.
A great friend from college just connected with me that I have not seen in 25 years. 25 years? Oh my! I don’t mean to sappy here, it is just that we all go thru it when we realize how short this life is, unless we are waiting in a long line at the DMV or to ride Aerosmith the Ride at MGM Studios. It is just funny how we are in such a hurry to get somewhere and do something else and yet we zip by some of the most important things in our lives; friends, family, and of course my brown-eyed dog. So although it is early to make a new years resolution, mine will be to slow down a bit.
I better go now since I have so much to do before I have to slow down come January.
No doubt about it, with interest rates plummeting, it is time to go after those great deals in real estate. Yea, I know, foreclosures are out there, but that is not the only way to get a good deal. I find it funny when people call me wanting to just pursue foreclosure type properties. No big deal, but what they forget is that often you can get a better deal from a home owner who has no choice but to sell.
